Pentatonic Puppy app for iPhone and iPad

Pentatonic Puppy removes certain keys from the standard piano so that essentially any note that you play sounds great. Pentatonic Puppy was created by an elementary music teacher with children ages 5 - 11 in mind, but younger and older children may like it as well. Pentatonic is the name of a musical scale that has 5 notes. It is the sound that you get when you play the black keys on the piano and is the basis of many folk songs around the world. It is easy to make up fun songs and melodies by playing the pentatonic scale!

Pentatonic Puppy is not just a piano app - it has 4 different modes :

1. Free Play - Play the pentatonic notes on the piano any way you want to make up your own songs. Tap Pentatonic Puppy and shell play a backing track for you to play along with at 3 different speeds.
2. Blues Puppy - This uses the minor pentatonic scale or Blues Scale instead of the major pentatonic scale. It has a blues backing track that you can play along with and improvise to.
3. Ear Trainer - Pentatonic Puppy plays 2 notes and you try and figure out what the second one is!
4. Learn A Song - Comes with 6 different songs - plays the song for you so that you can learn by ear or displays the letter names so you can play by reading.
